Modifying transparency using IMM

Problem

Today, to make various displays go from transparent to translucent, films are glued to the back to create the desired effect.

Objective 

Find a cheaper alternative with which light diffusion is obtained without the need to stick the films.

ATRIA Solution

A study of microstructures that could result in the required degree of light diffusion was carried out. It was injected with the target material into the microstructured molds, transferring the light-diffusing microstructure and giving the material the desired property directly on injection.
