The glasses are glued to their frame in an automated way.
Due to the tolerances of the materials and the wear of the tools, the gluing position must be adjusted manually for each batch of product.
Objective
Automatically calculate the gluing position of the crystals in the frames with an accuracy of 0.2 mm.
ATRIA Solution
A computer vision system composed of 6 4K industrial cameras was designed, trained and implemented, governed by a powerful industrial PC that calculates the dimensions and deviations of each glass and automatically adjusts the gluing position.
The target precision of 0.2 mm was achieved.
