Problem

Damaged layers of paint reveal the color of the paint below or can cause corrosion, making it difficult to finish well after repainting.

Objective

Remove damaged paint layers.

ATRIA Solution

Laser technology was used to remove damaged paint layers without affecting the base material. In the case of having layers of different paints on top of each other, it was possible to select some laser parameters that could selectively eliminate the desired layers.
