Inspection using a vision system for gray and black parts

In a line of gluing aesthetic profiles for glass-ceramic glass, there are several options for the same glass model but in different colors. The need arises to check if the profile color is correct for each crystal.

Objective

Perform an automatic visual check of the aesthetic profile typology on a glass-ceramic glass.

ATRIA solution

To carry out the Project, a vision system is developed consisting of several industrial cameras installed in replica positions of the production process. Using a vision algorithm, the images obtained are processed to determine what color is the aesthetic profile to be added to the glass ceramic.

The system is integrated and communicated with the production line to verify that the profile placed on the gluing station is correct..
