Petition / Problem
The customer wants to increase the hydrophobicity and decrease the sliding angle of PP samples, which is only activated with plasma.
Objective
Develop a modification in PP samples to achieve a superhydrophobic surface with a low sliding angle.
ATRIA solution
A modified PP was developed where sample pretreatment, surface activation, solvent type, PP and coating composition, incubation time, molecule type and concentration were optimized.
