Problem

Silicone does not adhere well to metal profiles that join two critical parts. Currently, a first chemical is used through a manual process.

Objective

Automation of the process of improvement of the adherence of the metal with the silicone.

ATRIA Solution

Atmospheric plasma was selected as the best technology. The optimization of the equipment was carried out in parameters such as voltage, frequency and speed.
Once the atmospheric plasma was applied, the silicone rupture was cohesive as expected.
