In a painting process, aesthetic faults are located in some pieces, carrying out the process continuously in the same way.

Objective

Know the cause or the contamination that produces the aesthetic defects generated during the second coat of paint.

ATRIA solution

ATRIA made replicas with different common pollutants present in manufacturing lines. In this way, several defects similar to the original were obtained with silicone contaminants.

Quantitative chemical analyzes were also performed in different areas of the pieces to compare the presence of contaminants between reference pieces and pieces with the defect.
