Collaborative Robotics
Automation as never seen before
What can collaborative robotics do for your company?
These new robots have the ability to work side by side with humans, even in collaboration with them. This is possible because they are aware of their surroundings thanks to the sensorics and that the main premise in their design is the safety of humans.
We develop solutions based on collaborative and industrial robotics combined with computer vision and machine learning algorithms. In this way, we provide intelligence to the arm to adapt its movements to each situation or to the task that it must perform at each moment, gaining autonomy.
What do we do in collaborative robotics projects?
Selection of the suitable hardware
Based on the requirements of our customers, we select the collaborative robot that best suits to their needs. We also design and select the sensors necessary for the application both artificial vision cameras, proximity sensors, physicochemicals, etc.
Software selection and preparation
We work with the main brands of adaptive robotics, selecting the specific programs and environments suitable for each installation. We also know specific programming languages for advanced sensors, including artificial vision. We carry out all communications and information transmission within our system, allowing us to adapt to pre-existing systems.
Design and manufacturing of the installation
From ATRIA we design and prepare the installation based on our previous experience and the requirements of our customers. In collaboration with our partners we manufacture all the integration, from the anchors of the robot, to the placement of lighting and sensors. Thanks to our extensive network of partners, our customer receives a turnkey installation based on collaborative robotics.
Technologies associated with collaborative robotics
Force sensors
Collaborative robots can incorporate sensors that limit and control the force they generate in their movements, thus being able to avoid damage if a collision occurs with a person. They also allow you to manipulate fragile elements or perform precision tasks.
Proximity sensors
It is its biggest advantage over industrial robots. A network of proximity sensors allows the robot to be controlled if a person approaches to an area with risk of collision, being able to control its speed and force based on that data.
Ease of programming
There is a wide variety of software and programs focused on the ease of programming and start up of the collaborative robots. It allows that a person, with a simple and fast training, to program and manipulate collaborative robots.
Imitation Learning
The imitation learning algorithms allow you to configure complex movements and tasks with great ease, resembling the movements of the collaborative robot to the natural movements of a person. These functionalities allow you to perform collaborative functions naturally and easily.
What are the applications of collaborative robotics?
Picking pieces from belt after injection process
Pre-assembly of small parts
Bin-picking of pieces from different containers without need to be ordered
Detection, picking and removal of intrusive elements or defective parts
Product performance testing at the end of the assembly line
